The satellites, the 24th group of the low-orbit internet satellites, lifted off aboard a Long March-12 carrier rocket at 12:10 p.m. (Beijing Time) and entered their preset orbits successfully.

    　　哈利伯顿透露，选秀前他先后为勇士、活塞、森林狼、公牛参加试训，同时接受了尼克斯、黄蜂以及国王的面试，其中国王的面试安排在选秀大会前一天晚上。

    　　回忆这次面试，哈利伯顿表示自己一开始十分疑惑，国王手握 12 号签，他并不觉得自己会落到这个位置。经纪人告诉他国王十分欣赏自己，有可能向上交易签位争取他。和国王团队通话的氛围十分轻松，不像其他球队那样正式严肃，更像是朋友之间聊天。对方坦言十分看好他，但按照行情，他几乎不可能掉到 12 顺位，只是单纯想和他交流。这让哈利伯顿当时内心十分疑惑，不理解这场面试的意义。

    　　颇具戏剧性的是，2020 届选秀大会上，哈利伯顿正是在首轮第 12 顺位被萨克拉门托国王选中。
